court case on salman khan selfie song‘Hurting the religious sentiments of people’, has become like a catch phrase and there are always people on lookout for the slightest excuse to file a public interest litigation on some parts of movies or asking for ban on films altogether. But Bollywood megastar Salman Khan’s ‘Selfie Song’ passed through the PIL.

In Salman Khan’s last release ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’, there is a selfie song in which we see Khan dancing before Lord hanuman and taking selfies with Hanuman devotees. The PIL was piled for wearing shoes in the songs alleging that it hurts the sentiments of Hindus.

Since the film has been certified by CBFC, Bombay High Court refused to interfere into the matter and hence dismissed the plea for banning the ‘Selfie Song’. One Raj Rathod file the PIL against the song in High Court.
