A picture of megastar Amitabh Bachan taking lunch with a reputed family has gone viral and the news attached with the picture says that Amitabh is having his lunch on a Rs.65 Crore dinner set with the family of the chairman of Kalyan Jewellers, Kalyanaraman. The picture in discussion actually is megastar’s picture having lunch with the family members of legendary actor Shivaji Ganeshan.
When recently Amitabh Bachan came to Chennai in April, 2015, he went to visit his deceased friend Shivaji Ganeshan’s family and there he had South-Indian lunch with the Tamil legend’s family. One can easily spot Shivaji Ganeshan’s son in the picture. Megastar seriously felt that it is necessary to clarify on fabricated news on Rs.65 Crore dinner set and hence officially gave clarity on the picture.
Clarificatins came from the Tamil legend’s sons even. Actor Prabhu Ganeshan and Ram Kumar too condemned the news as fabricated and said they didn’t have lunch on golden plates but certainly the moments were golden. The lunch was served on banana leaves spread on copper plates as per the custom of the South Indian.
