Chiranjeevi's Acharya Mohanlal's MarakkarThe release of a lot of films has been postponed due to the rapid spreading of the second wave of Coronavirus in the country. Many films announced the news of their postponement quite some time ago, but a few films did it now, and one film continues to stick to its date.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Acharya was scheduled to release on May 13th. But as a result of the second wave, the shooting of the film has been stalled, and it has now been officially announced that the movie will not be released on May 13th. A few reports even suggest that Acharya might release in August, but there’s no confirmation yet. On the other hand, Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal’s film, Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham, has also been postponed from May 13th to August 12th.

In Bollywood, John Abraham’s film Satyameva Jayate 2 has also been postponed from May 13th, and the new release date is yet to be announced. The only film now getting ready to release on May 13th is Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s film Radhe. The film will be arriving on May 13th, on the occasion of Eid, and will be releasing in both theatres and on pay-per-view platforms as well.

For now, almost every movie that has planned to release in summer has been postponed, due to the severity of the second wave, and the way it is affecting everyone. It is now to be seen when things will get better, and when every film will plan its release again.
