Several people of the industry have spoken out in support of Dutt who was sentenced to a five year prison term when the Supreme Court found him guilty of having an illegal possession of an AK-56 rifle. Latest in line is the legendary actor and Union Minister Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan, who have both publicly stood by the actor in his time of need. Also standing by Sanjay’s side is veteran actress turned politician Jaya Pradha who declared that Sanjay is an innocent person and the whole thing is rather unfortunate.
Furthermore, superstar Mohan Lal was also seen showing his support for Sanjay by saying that Dutt certainly warrants our compassion and help to put this chapter behind him once and for all. He also said that he hopes and prays that Sanjay get the leniency he deserves and gets a full pardon.
