Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda is going great guns at the box office. The movie is going to recover 75% of its theatrical business in the first weekend itself. The movie is into profits in the US and will enter into one in Nizam today.
Akhanda theaters are reminding the Pre-COVID days with masses thronging into the theaters big time. Due to OTT impact and the Pandemic effect, there were doubts if the audience would come to the theaters like how it was previously. No film that released after Second Wave attracted audience.
With a slew of big films releasing from December 17th to Summer 2022, everyone is anxious about it. But Balakrishna assured them of the future with Akhanda. The movie has opened the flood gates and infused confidence in the other biggies releasing in the coming months.
This is a bigger feat than anything else in recent times. We have seen many stars tweeting about the same but then, Mega camp is completely silent about Akhanda Success. Megastar Chiranjeevi who usually tweets about every successful film is also silent.
No other Mega Hero tweeted about the film. Allu Arjun who attended Akhanda Pre-release Event did not tweet about the film after the success.
