For the past few years, especially after the Praja Rajyam Party debacle, things have not been smooth between the Mega brothers, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. At least that is what the impression they have created to the outside world as no one knows what really happens internally. On the few occasions they were seen together post the last elections, they weren’t that cordial and things appeared just mechanical between the two which lead to more rumors.
As if that wasn’t enough Pawan Kalyan went solo in the recently concluded elections where in he was directly pitted against his brother Chiranjeevi. There were many instances where he had to comment on his brother and although he did a great job of not completely hurting or offending his brother, Pawan Kalyan did admit on the day of the results that ‘his’ political decisions did hurt brother Chiranjeevi. All this also has lead to a split among the fans too where by each group is at loggerheads with other.
An unknown bitterness has crept among the Mega fans despite the tremendous success they are enjoying at box office due to these differences between the two big pillars of Mega family. However finally there seems to be good news on the cards for the fans of the family which hints at an event that could bring the entire Mega family together.
Sources in the industry say Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday this year is going to be an unforgettable one. As many as three big things could happen on the day, they add. First would be the official announcement of Megastar’s 150th film, then there would be audio launch of Varun Tej’s debut film and finally the biggest news, both the Mega brothers would be seen on the same dais at the audio launch after a very long time. If this latest buzz turns out to be true, Mega fans are surely in for a treat. What do you say?
