Krithi Shetty made a dream debut with Uppena. The film that was released after the first wave shattered the box-office records and it catapulted her to overnight stardom. The latest talk is that the actress has bagged another important film in her kitty.
The actress has been approached for a women-centric film. Incidentally, such films are done by established actresses as it would be easy for them to shoulder the movie on their name. But Krithi Shetty has outdone them by getting such a project at a young age.
Apart from this, the project has a ‘Mega’ touch. It will be bankrolled by Chiranjeevi’s elder daughter Sushmita. The yet-to-be-titled project will be directed by Virinchi Varma, who has previously helmed ‘Uyyala Jampala’ and ‘Majnu’. However, the Krithi is said to have quoted a huge sum.
After the success of her debut film, the actress’ popularity has sky-rocketed. And looks like the actress wants to cash in on her craze. But it is to be seen if the makers would go on to cast her or not.
