Two newly released movies aka Sundeep Kishan’s ‘Tenali Ramakrishna BABL‘ and Vijay Deverakonda’s maiden production venture ‘Meeku Maatrame Chepta’ are going to stream on a digital platform this month.
Both the movies were complete washouts. Unlike many small movies that are waiting and don’t get even the opportunity to at least stream on digital platforms, these two films will be streaming from 16th December and 17th December 2019 respectively on Hotstar.
We have expressed concern many times and even mentioned how the film trade pundits are worried about newly released films being available on digital platforms just after a month of their theatrical release.
This knowingness that small films or big films will be anyway available very soon on any one of the digital platforms is actually discouraging the family audiences to come to the theatres.
They are choosing to stay at home watching the film a month later than thronging to theatres unless it’s a spectacular like ‘Baahubali’.
