Media Asks Ram Charan About Family AccusationsUyyalawada Narasimha Reddy died in 1847 and that means, his story dates back to more than 150 years. Now, when Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions is making the movie ‘Sye Raa‘, the Uyyalawada descendants are demanding compensation for using their story for commercial purposes.

Responding on the related questions that media asked during at the trailer launch event of ‘Sye Raa’ today, Ram Charan reminded them of the Supreme Court’s judgement in previous cases that any story that is a 100 years old belongs to history and hence, there wouldn’t be any rights left with the descendants.

Going by Ram Charan’s words and the way he brought it the reference of Supreme Court and the previous cases, it’s understood that he wouldn’t be compensating and bow down to the demands of the family descendants of Narasimha Reddy.

He sounded diplomatic when he said that he would do something but not for just one family as it would be unfair for the great patriot who sacrificed his life for the country. Good one but, very diplomatic at the same time.
