Master Streaming on Amazon Prime After 15 DaysVijay Ilayapathy’s ‘Master‘ is likely to stream on Amazon Prime Video from 28th January mid-night onwards. It has been only 15 days since its release and the minimum window period of four weeks between a theatrical release and the digital release seems to have gone for a toss.

Vijay Ilayapathy is a massive star and going by the reports, Prime has paid the makers a huge price for streaming it earlier than expected. The movie is a commercial hit in Tamil Nadu and also fared well in the Telugu States.

However, the movie totally lost on the revenue from overseas as they missed releasing the movie in certain countries due to lockdown in the Tamil market’s strong territories like Singapore and a few other countries. Buzz has got it that Prime has compensated the losses quoting a never before amount for ‘Master‘.

Besides offering a hefty amount, they also cut out a deal for an early release to make their stamp in the streaming industry and also take the movie to the overseas audiences who couldn’t watch the movie in the theatres because of the lockdown.

Even locally, the movie would help Prime to get a huge buzz as it’s going to stream a big star’s movie in a gap of 15 days.

Master will be streaming on three streaming platforms -Amazon Prime, Tentkotta and Simply South.
