Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani was a cult hit, and it’s already a decade since it was released. To mark the occasion, the cast and crew of the film got together and partied to celebrate the occasion. Incidentally, the 10th anniversary was on May 31, and the team dressed in black made a statement, and their pictures have been splashed all over the media.
There was Ranbir Kapoor, his on-screen beau Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin, along with Ayan Mukherjee, who directed the film.
However, not everyone seems to have liked the camaraderie between Ranbir and Deepika, who can be seen hugging Ranbir Kapoor rather intimately in the pictures. This did not go down well with a section of netizens who have trolled them, saying things like – ‘Can girls let their husband get closer to their ex like this?’
Some were intentionally spreading hate as there is general negativity against Bollywood, and it’s cool to troll Bolly celebs. Also, incidentally, Alia’s grandfather passed away one day before, and Ranbir was seen partying with his ex the very next day. This, too, miffed many.
Some feel that a huge part of Deepika still loves Ranbir, a part of her can never love someone the way she loved him, the part that’s hidden cause hearing “move on” is easier than actually being able to. She’s probably happy with another person, but again, you can never completely fall out of love.”
Meanwhile, it has to be understood that Ranbir and Deepika have acted together following their hugely publicized break-up, where Deepika said Ranbir cheated on her. Now, both have moved on and are happily married.
