March Winner: Radhe Shyam or RRR?Two of Tollywood’s biggest pan-India outings, RRR and Radhe Shyam are up for worldwide theatrical release this month. While Radhe Shyam hits the marquee on 11 March, RRR will release on 25 March. The big question is – Which of these two biggies will emerge as the March winner?

While Radhe Shyam almost entirely depends on Prabhas‘s star power, RRR banks on Rajamouli‘s pan-India popularity following the epic Baahubali.

Both Radhe Shyam and RRR are getting a humongous theatrical release in the domestic and also overseas. Radhe Shyam is releasing in the USA this Thursday but two weeks later as RRR will be getting the widest theatrical release for any Indian film in the US.

In accordance, RRR will certainly post unprecedented premieres and opening day numbers in the USA. The film is on course to register exceedingly good numbers in the domestic circuit as well. The Hindi version is also likely to post very big numbers, which comes a long way in boosting the box office prospects of any pan-India biggie.

As things stand, RRR looks better poised to emerge as March winner as far as box office returns go. But that doesn’t undermine Prabhas’s box office pull in the Hindi circuit, as he showed his true strength with Saaho, which made it big in the Hindi circuit despite the rather weak word of mouth.
