Irony is the best word that would suit Rahul Ravindran for the two completely opposite things that happened on the same day. While his second movie ‘Manmadhudu 2‘ opened to mixed talk, his debut directorial ‘Chi La Sow’ won him a National Award.
It’s quite ironical that he won the National Best Award for original screenplay when his screenplay for an adaptation of a French movie has been receiving negative feedback. This is really something like out of an super cool scripted story. Totally unexpected!
This best explains the scenario how even simple things work when they are original like in the case of ‘Chi La Sow’ and things might get mixed up when something is borrowed but wasn’t packaged into something palatable to the nativity of the audiences like it happened with ‘Manmadhudu 2’.
