Director Mani Ratnam after having a massive set back with his last release is going all out with the next film. Many would have expected the director to go small after such a massive debacle like Kadal (Kadali in Telugu) but the director seems to have decided to hit back with a vengeance and break the box office shackles.
His next reportedly will be the most expensive film the director would be helming in his career. It is said to be an espionage thriller on the lines of Bourne Identity series and will feature an interesting set of cast. So far Nagarjuna and Shruti Haasan seems to have been confirmed where as talks are still going on with Aishwarya Rai. Finally coming to Mahesh Babu, as has been reported earlier in the day, a lot depends on how the dates are demanded and expected for the film, from the director. If the dates are manageable Mahesh Babu is sure to join the cast, otherwise he may skip the movie. The film which is going to be made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously is expected to get onto sets from June later in the year.
