Manchu Vishnu's ' Voter' Film in Legal TroubleAmidst allegations by director Karthik Reddy of ‘Adda’ fame against Manchu Vishnu and his production house, Twenty Four Frames Factory Private Ltd., the Manchu scion sent legal notices to both the director of his movie ‘Voter’ Karthik Reddy and the producer demanding them to pay him Rs. 1.5 crores.

According to Karthik Reddy, Manchu Vishnu and his friend Vijay Kumar Reddy had harassed him psychologically right from the beginning when they made him sign an agreement by force to adopt the style, scenes and screenplay of Mohan Babu’s ‘Assembly Rowdy’, the original rights of which stand with Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. Besides, Manchu Vishnu also wanted credit for the story and screenplay of ‘Voter’.

Now, after the allegations made by Karthik Reddy, Manchu Vishnu and his friend Vijay Kumar Reddy had filed a legal suit for the recovery of Rs. 1,50,00,000 from Karthik Reddy as he has used the screenplay of ‘Assembly Reddy’, and as per the agreement he was entitled to use the screenplay on payment of Rs. 1.5 crores.

So, the Manchu hero is demanding to be paid that amount along with 16% interest and also the charges pertaining to the legal suit. He filed this suit in City Civil Court, Hyderabad.
