Vaitla and Vishnu Manchu who are struggling in their careers have teamed up for the sequel of their blockbuster film, Dhee. The movie is titled D & D – the Sequel of Dhee and comes with a tagline ‘Double Dose’.
They claim that the second film will have a double dose of entertainment and action. Vishnu Manchu himself will be producing the film on 24 Frames Factory, while Avaram Bhakta Manchu presents it. Kona Venkat, the writer of the first part will not be a part of this team.
It will be interesting to wait and watch for the cast of the film. Srihari and Jayaprakash Reddy who played crucial roles in the first part are no more. Sunil and Bramhanandam are still around but seem out of touch. Master Bharath no longer has the charm he carried back then. Genelia is married and is not doing films.
Gopi Mohan along with Kishore Gopu has pinned the script. Mahati Swara Sagar scores music while Mohana Krishna handles the cinematography. Peter Hein is roped in as the action choreographer since the film will be high on action. MR Varma is the editor and Chinna will supervise the art department. The heroine and other cast details are yet to be known.
