Filmmakers have started giving a lot of importance to sound in cinema. One of the leading sound technologies in Sound today in the country is Dolby Atmos, which creates an atmosphere for sound to be placed in anywhere within four walls. After several Hollywood blockbusters such as Life of Pi and The Hobbit trilogy, Telugu industry has finally caught up on this movement.
After Race Gurram, Nagarjuna’s Manam will also release in Dolby Atmos. In this year, we can expect more Telugu films to adapt this technology and make the audience immerse in cinema with the sound. This technology is being used extensively by Telugu and Hindi industries in the country. Telugu industry has not shown keen interest so far but sources at Dolby say that this year they are planning to convince as many filmmakers in Telugu as possible to use this sound technology.
Meanwhile, Manam’s trailer will be released tomorrow on the occasion of Rama Navami. Surprisngly, the film’s shooting is not yet completed with some patch work still left to be completed.
