The Akkineni multistarrer film Manam has completed its first week run at the box office. The film had a slow opening but picked up tremendously from its second day itself and now at the end of the first week Manam has found a place among the top 5 films among Akkineni films.
Manam has collected approximately 19 Cr share in the first week which means it’s at fifth position among top grossing Akkineni films that includes films of both Akkineni Nagarjuna as well as Naga Chaitanya. Looking at the way the film is running at the box office the film will clearly be the biggest grosser for the family by the end of the second week.
In the overseas Manam has already become the highest grossing Akkineni movie and by a distance at that. In fact in overseas the film is expected to become the highest grossing movie of the year in few days time and if the film sustains well in second week as well it did in the first week, it could find a place in top 5 overseas grosses of All Time as well. Even a place among the top 3 All Time is very well in reach if the film maintains its stunning run, says the trade experts.
After many years Manam is giving the Akkineni a box office run that the fans could be proud off. We had asked if Manam would reach the dream destination on the first day of the release of the film, well, it now looks all set for Manam to reach that destination and more too. The trade, looking at the way the film is running, is still at loss of words and is not able to predict where the film will end its run.
