During Radhe Shyam promotions, Prabhas announced that Malayalam Superstar Prithviraj had been roped into playing a crucial role in the much-awaited Prashanth Neel film Salaar. There are speculations that it might be the role of the villain.
Prithviraj Sukumaran was in Bengaluru for the promotion of his upcoming film, Kaduva. During the event, he revealed that he was approached for a role in Salaar even before the shoot started. But then, due to the pandemic, dates got shuffled, and he thought he couldn’t do the film. But then, after a few months, dates again got readjusted, and he could adjust his dates for Salaar. He said that when Prabhas asked him to do the movie, he just couldn’t refuse it.
Prithviraj also mentioned that he had read the script of Salaar, and he said he couldn’t wait to see how it would shape up on the big screen. He added that Salaar is going to be a complete Prabhas’ show.
