Malayalam stars are having a field day these days as some of them have made an impact in various other languages because of the recognition they got on OTT platforms during the pandemic era.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, Faasil Fahad, and Dulquer Salmaan are the leading the Malayalam industry from the front these days. While Prithviraj is also directing films quite often, Dulquer and Faasil also have some good performances and films to boast of.
Coming to Dulquer has some promising films coming up in Malayalam and Telugu, which includes Hanu Raghavpudi’s Sitaramam. On the other hand, Fahaadh Faasil started with small roles but now has turned into a monster of an actor. His popularity made him sign films in other languages also, which resulted in Vikram and Pushpa. His role in the Pushpa sequel is much awaited.
After hard-hitting films like Jana Gana Mana, Prithviraj is also doing some great projects and the latest being Prabhas’ Salaar.
But there is one more Malayalam hero, Nivin Pauly, who got a lot of craze with movies like Bangalore Days and Premam. But now he has completely lost his market due to the bad choice of films. He is looking to make a comeback now.
Among Prithviraj, DQ, and FaFa, it will be interesting to see who will emerge as the undisputed ruler of Mollywood.
