Now, actor Adivi Sesh’s Major has revived hopes in Tollywood at the overseas market. With the speedup of vaccination drives, things stand on a brighter side as a noted distribution company Weekend Cinema along with Southern Star International have bought Major overseas rights for a whopping amount. This would give a major boost to Tollywood as many biggies are in the lineup for release.

Adivi Sesh has set a benchmark for himself with a set of audience with his intriguing thrillers. The actor with his maiden Bollywood-debut Major has upped his graph and with its power-packed teaser left an indelible mark has become a major asset which helped the team to get a whopping amount for overseas rights.

Sesh’s first pan-India film will have release in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam, which chronicles the journey of NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost life in 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. Along with Sony Pictures Films India, A+S movies,Mahesh Babu is also one of the producers, thus the buzz around Major is impressive.

Major was set for release on July 2. With the cases subsiding, the team may announce a new release date soon.
