Director Mani Ratnam seems to be having a hard time recently as his much awaited Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna starrer movie failed to make it. The highly-anticipated film by Mani Ratnam was supposed to be a Tamil and Telugu bilingual film, however it has been put on hold as the both the actors seem to have some issues with the script. The director had already started approaching actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shruti Haasan for the lead role. Even after all that, the two actors expressed “reservations” over the script. While the actors had agreed in principle to do the film, both were waiting for the final script to come up.
Actor Mahesh made the first step to leave and superstar Nagarjuna also took a back seat soon after. While Mani Ratnam might have some problems regarding the film, both the actors have other commitments to pay attention to. Mahesh is working on film ‘Aagadu’ and Nagarjuna is awaiting upcoming film Manam’s release.
