He said that during the Shrirastu Shubamastu days itself, he had started developing the story of Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Mahesh Babu in mind. He gave a narration to Mahesh even before Geetha Govindham was released, which he liked immensely, and asked him to come up with a bound script.
