With ‘Srimanthudu’s success, we can see positivism everywhere in the Film Industry because it came right after a blockbuster success like ‘Baahubali’.
But before ‘Srimanthudu’, Mahesh was a bit low with two back to back flops. ‘1-Nenokkadine’s fate didn’t hurt the sentiments of the fans much because the film had content. However ‘Aagadu’s flop was painful experience for his die-hard fans and hence Mahesh Babu even .
Speaking during ‘Srimanthudu’ success meet, Mahesh said, I didn’t know to face you (fans) before the audio release of ‘Srimanthudu’ and it’s obvious that Mahesh is referring to the miserable fate of Aagadu. This is the same emotion he expressed during the audio launch event. He thanked Koratala Siva for giving such a hit movie when he needed the most.
