SS Rajamouli is currently busy wrapping up the shooting of his RRR. There were reports that Rajamouli has worked on the script of his next with Mahesh Babu during the Lockdown break. Rajamouli’s father and his writer, Vijayendra Prasad spilled beans on the project in an interview.
“For one year and four months of Corona, we absolutely did nothing. Nothing has happened. For the last few months, I have been pestering him to tell me something about Mahesh Babu’s film. He said he wants to do something in the big backdrop of Africa and an adventure,” he revealed.
“I am still exploring. Rajamouli and I are big fans of Wilbur Smith. The large canvass of Africa and adventure. I am yet to explore,” he added. Wilbur Smith is a South African novelist specializing in historical fiction about the international involvement in Southern Africa across four centuries.
So, there will be elements of discrimination and adventure in the backdrop of Nature (African Forests). That should be a decent conflict point for Mahesh Babu’s film. It may be another Good Vs Bad battle in Rajamouli’s style in the backdrop of African forests. That sounds really exciting.
