Mahesh Babu Sensible Decision – Ignoring Sentiment A sensible decision has been made at last by the unit of Maharshi starring Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead. The makers have decided to move the release date from April 25th to May 9th.

It is a sensible decision because for a biggie April 25th was a terrible date. When even fans could know it, it baffled everyone that makers didn’t. Not only are elections going to be a significant issue, but Maharshi would also have been affected by the concluding part of the Avengers series, Avengers – Endgame. It is not just about the Telugu states where the Superstar factor would have helped the movie; there is the US market, where theatrical prospects would be dented for sure.

Earlier, it was said that May is not a good time to release Superstar Mahesh Babu’s movie. A few of his films released in the month have been disasters, the last one being Brahmotsavam. With May 9th as date, the unit is ignoring sentiment and showing signs of positivity. In the past, there was a similar sentiment that a movie where a heroine debuts opposite Mahesh Babu has never succeeded. But, Bharat Ane Nenu marking Kiara Advani’s Tollywood debut broke that sentiment. Who knows, the same might happen with Maharshi?

Maharshi stars Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in the lead. Vamshi Paidipally directs the message-oriented commercial entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad is providing the music.
