Quite naturally, a question popped up in the mind of a journo, that, since Superstar Krishna has immortalized the role of Alluri Seetaramaraju, why didn’t Rajamouli consider his son for the part in RRR? The director gave a perfectly valid reply, and we think even the fans would agree as it is related to them.
In the past, whenever SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu shared the same stage, excited fans always asked them to make a movie. On one such occasion, SS Rajamouli gave two options for subjects to them. One was an Alluri Sitaramaraju movie, and the other was a James Bond flick. The fans of the stars showed a far better response for the latter. That incident stayed in the director’s mind, and he never visualised Mahesh Babu in the role of Alluri since then. That was one of the perfect replies by the star director avoiding any controversy.
