Superstar Mahesh Babu is officially on board as a producer for Major and will only be associated in that capacity through GMB Entertainment. Sony Pictures International marks its foray into Telugu through Major. It is based on the real life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Adivi Sesh unites with his Goodhachari fame Sashi Kiran Tikka directs the movie. It will be a Telugu and Hindi bilingual. A new production house, A plus S Movies will be backing the project along with the aforementioned big players.
