The latest release date announcement coming from Telugu cinemas is Mahasamudram. It is the second directorial venture of director Ajay Bhupati of RX100 fame.
Mahasamudram is a bilingual bringing an exciting combination of stars. It features Sharwanand and Siddharth in the lead roles. Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel are the female leads.
The makers have locked August 19th as the release date of Mahasamudram. The release date is bang in between two big movies Pushpa and F3 which arrive on August 13th and August 27th respectively. In short, Mahasamudram is sandwiched between the two biggies.
The makers, obviously, don’t seem to mind it. They look confident in the project. If that is the case, it is all fine. But, if it is locked on that date with some other objective, it could be at the losing end.
Whatever be the case, there is a general feeling that the more, the merrier among Telugu cinema audience. Considering the combination of Mahasamudram, it should be a welcome addition. However, the focus will be more on Ahay Bhupati to see what he has in store after a blockbuster debut in RX100.
Ramabrahmam Sunkara produces Mahasamudram on AK Entertainments banner. Chaitan Bharadwaj provides the music. The intense love story will release simultaneously in Tamil, along with Telugu.
