Director SS Rajamouli has expressed his interest in making epic Mahabharata into cinema from a long time. Even Aamir Khan too has similar interests. But, Malayalam star Mohanlal has beaten them all.
A massive project, India’s costliest, worth 1000 Cr has been officially announced today. It stars Mohanlal in the lead and is called Randamoozham. It is based on the novel written by legendary writer MT Vasudevan Nair. Entire Mahabharata will be narrated through the eyes on Bheeshma in this retelling.
Randamoozham has finally materialized thanks to billionaire Businessman, Dr. BR Shetty. He is going to invest 1000 Cr for this epic movie which will be released simultaneously in many languages.
