The much hyped ‘Mahabharata‘ to feature the celebrated Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has got the first taste of controversy. The movie is going to be narrated in the perspective of Bheema, the second son of Pandu Raju.
This is not the epic story we have been hearing since ages. It’s the author’s point of view on different characters in the epic. So, it had deviated entirely from the story we know as ‘Mahabharata’. Because of its deviation, the novel is titled as ‘Randamoozham’.
It’s common sense to understand that the people would have reservations regarding using the epic’s title for this movie when the story is said in a different perspective interchanging the popular image different characters have been enjoying.
