Ajay Bhupathi, who attained cult status with his debut flick RX100, is back with a new outing. It is Maha Samudram and brings together two terrific, talented heroes, Sharwanand and Siddharth. As mentioned from the start, the action extravaganza presents a heady mix of action and emotion.
The trailer packs in multiple characters and their intros and a hint at potential plot. The opening shows what looks like a triangular love story between the main leads and Aditi Rao Hydari. It soon turns into a myriad of emotions, with things taking a dark turn. We then witness the anger and rage of all characters one by one.
The core plot is still kept under wraps which is fine. Not everything needs to be revealed. But, it creates high expectations among the audience. It is more so when multiple actors of interest can turn out to deliver something special.
Ajay Bhupati has his task cut out, no doubt. But, looking at the trailer, it looks like he has something unique and exciting in store for the audience. The casting seems perfect, along with a fresh setting and setup.
