Writer Vijayendra Prasad was all so excited for Ram Charan graced the pre-release event of the ace writer’s debut directorial ‘Sri Valli’. In his excitement, the writer cum director revealed an interesting fact about ‘Magadheera’.
After the success of ‘Simhadri’, Rajamouli was waiting to work with Chiranjeevi and wrote an action block for the megastar. That was the hundred soldier fight. That fight transformed into a blockbuster fight in ‘Magadheera’ as the writer and his son Rajamouli decided to use it for Ram Charan when it was actually written for Chiru.
They wrote this episode for Chiranjeevi and when they narrated it, Chiranjeevi literally had goose bumps. Vijayendra Prasad didn’t regret using it for Ram Charan, though. The fight turned into n iconic one and even today we see the reference to the 100 men fight as a synonym for ‘Magadheera’.
