The teaser of Adipurush that dropped a couple of days back has done more bad than good to the film. The makers are already under the pump for cartoonish visuals. Now, the team has received a slamming from Madhya Pradesh Home Minister, Narottam Mishra.
In his latest media briefing, the home minister came down heavily on the director of Adipurush, Om Raut and also the team.
“The portrayal of pivotal characters in Adipurush is concerning. “ I am writing a letter to filmmaker Om Raut to remove the objectionable scenes, if those scenes are not removed then we will take legal action against them“ Mishra said.
The home minister said the director didn’t do any research on Raavan character. “He should’ve taken the looks of Sr NTR, or Dr Rajkumar who played Raavan roles with great integrity and attention for detail. The Ravan shown in the teaser of Adipurush doesn’t even look like an Indian.
The senior politician added that the unit should make necessary changes before releasing the final copy of the film in theaters, else they will be facing legal consequences.
Everyone that shouldn’t go wrong with a teaser has gone so horribly wrong for Adipurush. It is going to be an uphill task to comeback from here.
