Normally, when there comes a blockbuster movie, many persons come to associate with it and claim credit for one thing or the other. But, Madhura Sreedhar didn’t take the credit for 2016 blockbuster ‘Pelli Choopulu’. The reason was certainly Daggubati Suresh Babu.
When Madhura Sreedhar watched the movie produced by Raj Kandukuri before release, he understood that this movie’s range is very high and it needs a bigger platform than he could give. So, he took the movie to Suresh Babu. They both came to an agreement to invest 50% each. But, Madhura didn’t take the credit even in posters or titles.
He felt that Suresh Babu can give good positioning to the film while he could only provide good communication needed. He wants to help his friend Raj Kandukuri at that time and also wanted to earn profits for himself. He got whatever he wanted. Moreover, he just suffered a flop in the form of ‘Oka Manasu’ and didn’t want that to ruin business for ‘Pelli Choopulu’.
