The most talked-about MAA Election results are out. Vishnu Manchu has won the election empathetically. He is going to be the next President pipping Prakash Raj. The result in this fiercely contested election has been interestingly one-sided.
With this result, there are murmurs in the industry that the defeat has indicated the fall of the Mega brand. Nagababu has openly supported Prakash Raj in this election. On multiple occasions, he mentioned that Chiranjeevi is supporting Prakash Raj.
Chiranjeevi did not come out to support but his silence ratified the claim. So, the defeat hurts Chiranjeevi and the Mega brand than Prakash Raj. All the actors of the Mega family themselves did not come out to vote which is another disturbing incident today.
Nagababu fought as if it is his own election but his own son and daughter did not come to vote. This defeat has come days after the Republic Pre-Release event speech of Pawan Kalyan. We have seen Posani and Minister Perni Nani bad-mouthing Chiranjeevi’s mother and other family members. Pawan Kalyan found no support from his own family members.
“The Mega Brand can not defend its own family or can not win an election. What is the use of the brand then?,” the criticism on social media and Filmnagar says. There will be people who will mock, “Forget Assembly elections, Mega family can not even win a simple association election”.
If they thought they can not handle this election, at least Nagababu should have been reined.
