Poet and lyricist Vairamuthu of Tamil Nadu began his career with superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaali’ and won a lot of acclaim as one of the most talented poets and lyricist in Kollywood. Now, he has immersed himself in a controversy related to ‘Kabali’.
During the book launch event of his poetry, Vairamuthu said that ‘Kabali’s failure can’t be accepted but it needs to be understood, though. Naturally, such a comment would lead to hostility among the superstar’s fans and disapproval from them.
The poet opened up on the comments and said that he used the word ‘failure’, instead of ‘success’ in the surge of the moment and nothing else. Though Vairamuthu seems to be trying to explain to avoid controversy, the word ‘success’ doesn’t be fit into the statement he made. Why wouldn’t he accept ‘Kabali’s success if he meant to use the word ‘success’ instead of ‘failure’?
