Lucky Escape for Ram CharanThere happen to be many films that are made with different actors than the ones that were initially thought of, while writing the script for the film. While sometimes this turns out to be a bad thing for actors, who lose out on blockbuster films, sometimes, it turns out to be the best, with actors losing out on box office duds.

Speaking in a recent interview, popular writer Veligonda Srinivas said that the script of Akhil: The Power of Jua, was initially written by him, with Ram Charan in his mind, as the protagonist. He said that he’d visualized Ram Charan on the quest for Jua, with a song like “Jai Chiranjeeva, Jagadeka Veera” from Jagadeka Veerudu, Athiloka Sundari, playing in the background.

Before the release of Akhil: The Power of Jua, which marked the debut of Akkineni Akhil, there were a lot of expectations on the film. However, the film turned out to be a disaster at the box office, resulting in great losses for the makers of the film.

With Veligonda Srinivas now saying that he initially wrote the script with Ram Charan in mind, Ram Charan’s fans and general audiences are feeling that Ram Charan managed to luckily escape this dud of a film.
