Love Story Enters One Million Dollar ClubNaga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s Love Story got released on September 24. Although the film evoked mixed reviews, the film got the biggest ever opening for any South Indian film after the COVID era.

Love Story has now breached $1 Million mark in the US. The film is Naga Chaitanya’s first film as a solo to have attained this feat at the overseas market.

Previously, it was family entertainer Manam that crossed $1 Million mark in the US. The film holds dear to Naga Chaitanya in many ways, as Love Story is the second Indian film to have crossed the mark after Jathi Ratnalu since February 2020. Now it only requires $60K to overtake Jathi Ratnalu. And given the weekend collections, it may breach the mark by Sunday itself, making it the highest grosser of the year.

It is worth mentioning that only two Indian films attained this remarkable feat and both are Telugu films; the first is Jathi Ratnalu, second is Love Story. At a time when the Bollywood industry is struggling to bounce back, the regional films have proved to be advanced and shown the language holds no barriers.

Apart from Love Story, Naga Chaitanya will next be seen in Thank You and Bangarraju which have the potential of $1 Million mark. He then awaits Bollywood debut, Lal Singh Chaddha release having the potential of $5 Million mark. Thus, Chay has interesting lineups in the offing.
