Lost-Opportunity-for-Uppena-in-the-United-StatesPanja Vaishnav Tej’s Uppena has released today across the globe. The movie has got decent talk everywhere and the opening is massive. However, the makers and the film’s distributors in the US have faltered in planning the Premieres of the film.

The Premieres of the film have started late. They were started only an hour or so before the first show in India. This may be a cautious decision to prevent talk from the US affect the Indian audience. But then, it has proved to be wrong at the end. For the kind of talk the movie has got, the U.S. collections would have been good.

The movie was sold-out at several locations. With absolutely no new releases at the U.S. Box office, the movie could have added more shows at several locations if they had gone with regular premiere timings. The delayed Premieres means that is not possible. The makers have lost the revenue there for no reason. It is a lost opportunity for sure, we can confidently say.

In the domestic markets, the movie may end up as the biggest opening of all time for a newcomer. Everyone is commending Vaishnav Tej for attempting such a subject for his first film while the star kids usually play safe with their first films.
