The sequel to Sandakozhi (Pandem Kodi in Telugu) has been launched. Actor Vishal and director Linguswamy reunite for the film with Raj Kiran and others reprising their roles from the original.
Pandem Kodi was the second film of actor Vishal released in the year 2005. It was the blockbuster success of the film in Telugu and Tamil that established the career of Vishal permanently. The sequel has been threatening to go on sets from a long time. It has finally started after many false starts.
Keerthy Suresh is the new addition in the sequel along with Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. Meera Jasmine heroine of Pandem Kodi will also be seen in the sequel. Sandakozhi 2 is the 25th film of actor Vishal. Apart from acting Vishal also produces the film.
