Suriya and Samanta starrer ‘Anjaan’ film trailer is trending online since a couple of days. The trailer has been a visual extravaganza for Suriya’s fans and they are out right thrilled to see their favourite star in full time mass avatar. But as for Samanta’s fans it was a bit disappointing. Especially Sammy’s Telugu speaking fans had to be content with just a glimpse of their favourite actress.
Sammy’s fans couldn’t get enough of her in her recent Telugu release ‘Autonagar Surya’. She had a very skimpy role and her role was limited to mere song and dance sequences. In most of her Telugu films, Sammy got substancial roles right from her debut movie ‘Em Maaya Chesave’ to the most recent ‘Manam’ which actually paved way for stardom to the actress in Tollywood.
Going by the importance given to Samanta in ‘Anjaan’ trailer, it seems obvious that Sammy has got only a glamour doll role like a compulsory addition for the romantic angle of the film. And even going by the previous posters released from the film, Sammy seems to be diminished to a skimpy mass character in glam avatar. One has got to wait and see if the apprehensions on Sammy’s role prove otherwise. Good luck in Kollywood Samanta!
