Today is Puri Jagannadh’s birthday and therefore, we can see Twitter is full of birthday greetings for the director. Conspicuously, lesser and unknown things about Puri’s movies have surfaced.
It’s surprising to know that Ram Charan’s debut movie ‘Chirutha’ was titled ‘Kurradu’ with the tagline ‘Low Class Area’ but being Chiru’s son, it was Chirutha’. Another interesting thing was about Puri’s movie ‘Sai Veerraaju’.
The director of the movie wanted Puri Jagannadh to play the hero but rejected and finally, Ajay played the protagonist in the movie. Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster’s ‘Badri’ had a different title initially. Any guesses?
It was titled ‘Cheli’. That seemed too poetic and classic and hence, changed it. Can you imagine any other title suitable for Pawan Kalyan’s movie ‘Badri’ other than that one? How about ‘Chirutha’ titled ‘Kurradu’? Looks like, the title change was very apt. Right?
