Legendary Producer Wanted to Convert into Christianity - Raja AbelActor Raja scored decent hits with Anand, Aa Naluguru among others. However, he didn’t continue his movie journey and bid adieu to films. He then took up Chirsitanity and became a pastor. In an interview he said that he is happy in his zone and recounted a few things which audience are not privy about.

Actor Raja recalls his association with legendary producer late Daggubati Ramanaidu. He was the producer for his film, Vijayam. The actor made startling revelation saying that Ramanaidu himself studied in Missionary school, and wished to take up Chiristanity. “During the film shoot I met him. He spoke of converting into Christianity. When he fell sick, I went to his house and conducted prayers. He is a gem of a person. I still revere, love and respect him,” says actor Raja.

The actor then went on to talk about Vijayam director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who treated him like his own child. He dubbed the director as ‘fantastic’ and considered it as his privilege to have gotten the opportunity of working with him.

Raja continues that of course he was offended but he said what he felt. It was up to them how they receive it. Raja also stressed that he is not coming back into films and it is unlikely for audience to see him on the big screen.
