Baahubali 2 was all set to release on April 28, while Kannada version is already facing trouble due to Kattappa’s (Sathyaraj) Karnataka Cauvery comments issue, now another issue came up for Tamil version. Indeed, Baahubali 2 seems to have fallen in way of some trouble with a film distributor moving the Madras High Court for a stay on film’s release on an allegation of unpaid dues worth 1.18 crore Rupees!

The distributor here is Chennai based company ACE media which had taken the theatrical exhibition rights of the Tamil version of Baahubali for the entire Tamil Nadu territory. The civil suit filed by ACE media alleges M S Sharavanan of Sri Green Productions of trying to sell the rights of the theatrical exhibition to third parties in negotiations that took place during the film’s audio release on April 9.

The civil suit by ACE media is scheduled for hearing tomorrow and will be heard before Justice but it looks like it’s just a regular civil dispute which usually happens showbiz.
