Chandrababu-naidu-Pawan-kalyanAndhra Pradesh government had completed the land pooling exercise for its upcoming capital way back in March. The government managed to pool in more than 32300 acres of the total 33250 acres. The government was in fix if they have to go for land acquisition in the left over lands.

As a last attempt to woo the land owners government had extended the Land Pooling date until May 1st. The government mentioned that farmers who give their lands by May 1st will get the 10 years compensation package. Any delay will make farmers lose the package. Since the leftover lands are in the heart of the planned capital and will be disturbing the Master Plan, the state government will be going for land acquisition for sure after May 1st.

On the other side, actor and Janasena President, Pawan Kalyan is threatening to agitate against the government in case Land Acquisition Act is unleashed on the reluctant farmers. On the other side, Singapore experts team will be submitting the Master Plan towards the end of May or early June.
