Kudi Yedamaithe, a 8-episode series starring Amala Paul and Rahul Vijay is gearing up for its digital premieres on Aha on 16th of this month. The trailer of the series was unveiled a short while back and here’s what we felt after watching it.
Amala Paul and Rahul Vijay, who play the two principal characters get stuck in a time loop and they keep experiencing the same sequence of events over and over again. The whole time loop mystery is interlinked with serial crimes in the city. Amala Paul plays a cop and Rahul Vijay plays an aspiring actor.
Going by the trailer, Kudi Yedamaithe seems to have a potent plot which could make for an edge-of-the-seat thriller if presented in the right manner. The whole concept of time loop sure does pack a punch and not many Telugu films have explored this genre till now. So, there is an element of freshness and intrigue attached to the series, as a whole.
The low-light visuals shown in the trailer look sharp. The background score gels with the theme. On the whole, the trailer is technically sound and it suggests that the series has a potent premise. Pawan Kumar, who rose to fame with U Turn helmed the series.
