The makers of Gabbar, Hindi remake of Tagore, have announced the release date of the film as Aug 15 next year, which means shooting for the same has to go on floors soon. And since it seems like Krish is not a doing a film with debutant Varun Tej, he is likely to start his Hindi project soon.
This will be a dream debut for Krish, who is looking for a much needed hit after his last film Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum failed to click at the box-office. It’s surprising that a director who is known for his unique and offbeat films has settled for a commercial film such as Tagore.
It will be interesting to see how will Krish handle Akshay Kumar, known for his action hero image on screen. Since the role in the film will require Akshay to underplay, one wonders how will Krish achieve that from Akshay.
