Actor Kota Srinivasa Rao will receive Allu Ramalingaiah award on Sep 30 for his overall contribution to Telugu cinema. This is definitely a happy moment for his fans and well wishers, but looking at Kota’s contribution as an actor, one might feel that he definitely deserves something bigger.
Kota deserves a central government awards such as the ‘Padma’. When actors like Rajesh Khanna and even Saif Ali Khan can get Padma awards, why not Kota be honored with such awards. He is definitely a better actor than most of the Telugu actors in industry.
He is one the finest actors available in Telugu industry, and it’s sad we haven’t given him the due recognition. He has acted in over 300 Telugu films and also in a few Bollywood films.
