The untimely demise of Jr NTR’s PRO, and producer, Mahesh S Koneru has come as a rude shock. Earlier today, Tarak posted an emotional message, as he bid farewell to his “dearest friend”.
For the unversed, Mahesh Koneru started his career as a film critic and eventually built a good rapport with Jr NTR. He then went on to become Jr NTR’s PRO.
At a time when Tollywood was taking a formulaic approach regarding film promotions, Mahesh Koneru altered the course with his aggressive promotional campaigns on social media. His new-age social media promotional campaigns enforced a change in Telugu film promotions.
He also played an instrumental role in Jr NTR’s image makeover. Up until Mahesh’s involvement, the Nandamuri heroes, including Balakrishna and Jr NTR used to follow formulaic template when it came to promotions.
After Mahesh came on board, Jr NTR’s career hit top gear and there was a noticeable difference in his off-screen presentation as well.
Now that Mahesh has sadly passed away, Jr NTR’s fans are worried how things will progress along henceforth. A few of Mahesh’s team members are associated with Tarak now and the latter’s fans would be hoping that Mahesh’s team can carry forward the positive momentum that was incorporated by Mahesh Koneru.
